No pattern, no rhyme, no reason.
Simply chaotic as life itself.

To Whom It May Concern: Just a friendly note to let you know, that the imposter who is flitting around the globe, purporting to "represent" the United States, does not represent the majority of us. We would like to take this opportunity to apologize for foisting this idiot upon the world stage. You see, we had an election in November 2000, and the majority of our nation voted for the other guy...Unfortunately, for us and you too, the imposter and his henchmen through devious means, managed to usurp the wishes of the nation and weasel their way into power. Being the civilized, law-abiding people that we are, we were under the assumption that "things would work out" correctly.... What we hadn't counted on, was that this guy's Daddy had people in high places who were evidently able to "call in some favors" and the not-so Supreme Court "appointed" him to the presidency.. We apologize to Mother Earth...This guy is going to rape you, drill holes in you, fill your atmosphere with noxious fumes, pile excrement on you, and expect you to say "Thank You George Bush"... We apologize to the poor of the world...This guy doesn't care that you even exist.. The payback to his "Oily Buddies" comes first...so please step to the back of the line... We apologize to the freedom-loving countries of the world, but this person seems determined to break any treaty that stands in the way of repaying the "military complex" who footed the bill for a large portion of his coup d'etat... We apologize to the animals and resources of the world...You are an "asset" that he wants to exploit...Animals are "game" to him and trees are but "potential plywood".... 41 months is a long time, but believe us when we say to you..We are MAD AS HELL and we won't take this a second longer than we have to... We appreciate the fact that you are brave enough to protest and stand up to this puny excuse of a human...We do try to protest here, but the Ultra-Conservative Right Wing has purchased control of our media, so that whenever a protest is waged, it is not widely reported here.. Please fly your protest banners high... Please keep your media involved in exposing the truth....When you protest and bare your behinds it DOES make news here... Please continue, and flash some behind for us... When Europe was in danger in the past, the people of the United States came to your aid and stood shoulder to shoulder to redeem democracy and freedom.. Now it is your turn to repay the favor to the majority of the Americans, who are being opressed from within... We may not have the media voice to get the word out to the world, but we are many, and order will be restored with your help.... Again, please accept our sincerest apologies... This open letter was originally posted here. -----] As I see it, almost all of the political systems designed since the beginning of time have a significant place for the enlightened leader. An individual with heroic strength and courage, intelligence and wisdom, charisma and finally, an individual with a sensitivity to evil. Evil that circumscribes the globe and that which darkens ones native landscape.Plato and his Republic, Hobbes and his Leviathan, Aristotle's Political Man, and Mill's Liberty. Even Machiavelli's leader was enlightened, although brutal and not sensitive to the people, he was at least enlightened. The point? As we have yet to create a real alternative to our current representative democracy, we are stuck with the dependancy upon an enlightened leader. It is clear democracy requires one who can grease the political wheels enough to turn, not alienate the governed and combat the evil in this world. I am sure there are alternatives to lessening the dependance upon a leader, but as mentioned, we haven't designed a plausable system yet. In fact, I find a great deal of interesting work actually happening in feminist circles, where 'thinking out of the box' is not a novelty, but a tool for survival. And unfortunately, George [Dubba-Ya] Bush has ZERO of those qualities. For many of us, it has been another crystal clear example of the deterioration of the democratic system, and the disheartening reality of corporatist domination and control. Will it all end in mass revolutions in 50 years...? The sad reality is that it is geometrically more difficult to mentally, emotionally and spiritually live in a brutal, evil, self-centred world such as this. That's why, even though it kills me to see the bastardization of the United States, its people and all who come in contact with it, I say, "Good for you, Mr. Bush!" You are an idiot, a racist, facist pig, and an elitist dunce, with the money and power to sit in the big chair at the Whitehouse. Good for you, because you find solace in living in a simplified world, a narrowed perceptive and in a comfortable light. Oh I'm sure you attend a few meetings, with heartfelt concerns splayed upon the board room table, but we all know you are above and beyond the sticky matters of real people, of the environment and such. Good for you, because while the pain and horror the world wakes up to every morning doesn't make it to your breakfast table... just the profits from the oil rigs in the Middle East. And seriously, why *should* you give a damn...? It's their problem, it's capitalism and you have a contract. Done and done- thank you M'am. I wish I knew the solution[s]... so many of us are sincerely waiting for a truly enlightened leader with the proper blend of characteristics to make a real difference and to provide hope to the world that perhaps we're not all going to Hell... doubt it will happen in our lifetime... so get up! Take a deep breath, and tell the rest of the world to FUCK OFF and GO AWAY... if it can work for president Bush, it can work for you... you'll have an incredible amount of money generated from the exploitation and raping of the world. Perhaps you'll even have enough money to become president... Good luck in your endeavour, and may God have mercy upon your soul.
